We worry about the elections; we worry about animals in the circus; we worry about Magic Johnson; we worry about Yugoslavia.
Right here in Hampton Roads we have children screaming for help.
Virginia Beach threatened to kill after-school activities in the spring. We suspend, expel and do everything to put our kids at risk while we worry about the silliest things.
We have no future as a society if we don't take care of business and take care of it now - not next September. Our children are calling for adult leadership and example. It is time to worry about our children.
Walk the talk, Hampton Roads, before it is too late.
