Clarence Armstrong Jr., of the 1100 block of Mission St., died March 7, 1996, at a local hospital.
Mr. Armstrong, a native of Norfolk, was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk. He was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his mother, Delores Armstrong of Norfolk; four sisters, Darlene Bishop, Renita A. Bland, Hermenia Armstrong and Rhonda A. Ogletree; and five brothers including Larry Bishop. He was predeceased by his father, Clarence Armstrong Sr.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday at New Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble at the home. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
