Ruby Morris Freeman, 85, of Route 1, died March 9, 1996, at her home.
Mrs. Freeman, the widow of Otis Crandle Freeman, was a homemaker and a native of Bertie County, N.C. She was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church, Colerain, N.C.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances F. Bracy of Ahoskie, N.C.; a son, Morris Lee Freeman of Harrellsville; a brother, James Earl Morris of Colerain; and two granddaughters.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, by the Rev. Hines Adams and the Rev. Robert May. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Mars Hill Baptist Church, Colerain, 27924.
