Bertha R. Wallace, 86, of the 1200 block of Edgewood Ave., died March 8, 1996.
She was a native of Pennington, N.J., and a graduate of Longwood College. She was a member of Chesapeake Avenue United Methodist Church, Chesapeake, and was involved in the United Methodist Women.
Survivors include a sister, Louise Wallace Waller of Chesapeake; a niece, Nancy W. Snow; two nephews, Robert J. Wallace and Stephen Parker Waller; eight great-nieces, Lindsey Waller, Casey Waller, Caitland Waller, Abigail Waller, Rebecca Cleghorn, Susan Finilli, Carole Snow, and Ainsley Wallace.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. John Andrews. Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, Chesapeake, is in charge.
