GRACE S. LUCEY

Grace Elizabeth Sims Lucey, 71, of the 1600 block of Keswick Drive, died March 8, 1996, at DePaul Hospital.

Mrs. Lucey, a native of Hobe Sound, Fla., was a dietician retired from DePaul Hospital since 1976. She was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church and past president of Tidewater Diatetic Association. She was very active in the Meadowbrook Forest Hunt Club Point and Meadowbrook Terrace Civic League. She was pack mother for Cub Scout Pack (NU)370 as well as an active Girl Scout leader in her younger years.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis C. Lucey; two daughters, G. Ellen Holm of Chesapeake, Diane Elizabeth Griffin of Birmingham, Ala.; two sons, David James Lucey of Brooklyn, N.Y., Jonathan Edward Lucey of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, A. James Sims of San Jose, Calf.; six grandchildren, Ashley Blair Allen and Mathew Barrett Allen, both of Chesapeake, Dennis Warner Griffin of Birmingham, Colbert Lucey, Carolyn Lucey and Diana Lucey, all of Brooklyn.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Christ and St. Luke Church by the Rev. Irwin Lewis and the Rev. James W.H. Sell. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ and St. Luke Church or to McKendree United Methodist Church or to the American Lung Association.
