Hayes, Seay, Mattern & Mattern Inc. was judged one of the 50 fastest growing companies in the state by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. The awards program is coordinated by Virginia Business magazine and the accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand. Companies headquartered in the state were judged from a selection of those with sales between $1 million and $50 million and a growth over the past three years. The architectural/engineering, with headquarters in Roanoke, has operations in Lynchburg and Virginia Beach as well as four other mid-atlantic states.
