Clarence Armstrong Jr., of the 1100 block of Mission St., died March 7, 1996, at a local hospital.
Mr. Armstrong, a native of Norfolk, was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk. He was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his mother, Delores Armstrong of Norfolk; four sisters, Darlene Bishop, Renita A. Bland, Hermenia Armstrong and Rhonda A. Ogletree, all of Norfolk; and five brothers, Larry Bishop of Jamesville, N.C., Michael Bishop of Jamaica, N.Y., and Everette Armstrong, Jimmel Armstrong and Eric Armstrong, all of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Clarence Armstrong Sr.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday at New Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
