Minnie James Futrell Vinson, 92, of Route 1, died March 10, 1996 at Roanoke Valley Nursing Home in Rich Square.
Mrs. Vinson was a member of Ashley Grove Baptist Church and was the wife of the late Ralph Vinson.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Virginia V. Hair of Virginia Beach, Mrs. Frances V. Britt of Milwaukee, N.C., and Mrs. Janice V. Rose of Pendleton, N.C.; two sons, Lowell Vinson and Merrill Thomas Vinson, both of Conway; one sister, Mrs. Janie Shearin of Rich Square; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Ashley Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. David Ross. Burial will follow in Ashley Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jackson Funeral Home, Jackson, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to Ashley Grove Baptist Church.
