MILDRED P. DANIELS

Mildred P. Daniels, 84, of the 100 block of Swain Ave., died Saturday, March 9, 1996, at Sentara Leigh Hospital.

She was retired from Rices-Nachmans Department Store as a sales clerk after 20 years of service. Born in Narrows, Va., Mrs. Daniels was the daughter of the late Charles and Julia Pannell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben M. Daniels.

Survivors include a daughter, Addie D. White of Chesapeake; a son, Davie ``Coy'' Daniels of Chesapeake; two sisters, Mona Perry of Chesapeake and Virginia Richardson of San Diego; two grandchildren, Sherri Young of Norfolk and Wayne White of Chesapeake; and a great-grandchild, Brian Young of Norfolk.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo, by the Rev. David Daniels. Burial will follow in Cudworth Cemetery, Wanchese. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. this evening at Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge in Chesapeake and from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo.
