Alice Hunter Seufer, 72, of the 6200 block of Sylvan St., died March 9 in Norfolk.
Mrs. Seufer, a native of Norfolk, was the widow of Rear Admiral Paul E. Seufer, CEC, U.S. Navy (Ret.), and the daughter of the late Charles Grandy and Alice S. Hunter. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Norfolk. She was also a member of the Norfolk Yacht & Country Club and the Sewells Point Golf Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Hunter B. Price of Norfolk; a son, Richard L. ``Dickie'' Burnette of Norfolk; one stepdaughter, Martha F. Wolfe of Midlothian, Va.; three stepsons, Stephen J. Seufer of Norfolk, Andrew P. Seufer of Chesapeake and Paul M. Seufer of Lynchburg; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, in Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Ross Wright. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. The family will receive friends at 6218 Sylvan St. in Norfolk. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
