Doris Youngberg Wiggins Schmoele, 70, of Norfolk, died March 9, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Schmoele was born in Sharpsville, Pa. She was the widow of David Lansing Wiggins and the wife of Henry H. Schmoele Jr. She was a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Norfolk. She was an honorary member of The Woman's Club in Richmond, and before moving to Norfolk, she was the club administrator of The Woman's Club in Richmond. She attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Mrs. Schmoele was preceded in death by her parents, Hannah and Oscar Youngberg.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She will be cremated and her ashes are to be buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Youngstown, Ohio. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements. You may consider memorial contributions to First Church of Christ, Scientist, Norfolk or a charity of your choice.
