Felix Ray Whitley, Sr., 49, of 22 E. Maggie Court in Wendell, N.C., died Friday night at his home.
He was director of Ray and Mary's Bowling Club, NABI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dove Whitley, on Aug. 10, 1995.
Survivors include a son, Felix Ray Whitley Jr. of Hampton, Va.; daughters, Cindy Lawson of Wendell and Kathy Brooks of Clayton; mother, Rachel Whitley of Indianapolis, Ind.; sisters, Glenda Price of Virginia Beach, Viva Ervin of Indianapolis and Renee Murdock of York Springs, Pa.; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service was conducted by Chaplain Becky Sansbury on March 10 at 3:30 p.m. at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Entombment at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.
