WINIFRED A. HODGE

Winifred A. Hodge, 85, of the 2800 block of Shore Drive, died March 10, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

She was a native of Rochester, N.Y., and the widow of Oscar L. Hodge. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Hampton. She was also a member of Woodmen of the World.

She is survived by three daughters, Loretta H. Jones of Virginia Beach, Jeanette A. Hartlaub of High Point, N.C., and Lillian M. Parkison of Hampton; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bethany United Methodist Church, Hampton. Burial is in Peninsula Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, today from 2 to 4 p.m and 7 to 8 p.m The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Memorial donations may be made to M.E. Cox Elder Care Center, c/o St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 644 N. Lynnhaven Road, Virginia Beach, 23452.
