Hazel ``Marie'' Reason Raper, 67, died March 11, 1996, in a Norfolk Hospital.
She was a native of Roper, N.C., and was the widow of Rupert Raper. She was formerly employed as an assembly person with Sheller and Globe Company.
She is survived by a son, Bruce G. Raper of Chesapeake; two sisters, Frances Barnes of Portsmouth and Mable LaPlant of El Cahon, Calif.; a brother, Thomas G. Reason Sr. of Chesapeake; and a grandson, Joshua Lewis Raper of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Paul D. Moore. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m.
