SUSANNAH TURNER BAGEL GIN RISES EARLY SO SHE CAN MAKE DOUGH.

When Susannah Turner opens her eyes at 4 a.m., it's not time to make the doughnuts.

It's time to make the bagels.

She's in business with her dad, John Turner, operating two bagel shops in Virginia Beach, and she has to get up pretty early to get to work to feed the hungry morning crowd.

A Beach native, Bagel Gin, as she's sometimes called, still finds time to pursue other activities. Running, scuba diving and photography top her hobby list.
