DEMOPOLIS, Ala. - Alton Gerald Banks, 45, of the 1200 block of Springhill Road, formerly of Aulander, N.C., died March 8, 1996, in his home.
He was a native of Bertie County, N.C., and was a mental health center home manager. He is survived by a brother, Jerry Banks of Newport News; and a nephew.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Robbie Parker in Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie. Burial will be in Aulander Cemetery, Aulander. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Aulander Rescue Squad, Aulander, N.C. 27805.
