Richard A. Blasche, 54, died March 7, 1996.
Mr. Blasche was born and raised in Baltimore, Md. He joined the U.S. Navy in November 1961. Richard was a Vietnam veteran and retired from the Navy in December 1989. He remained in Norfolk and was employed as a night manager for the Cozy Inn on Shore Drive, Norfolk.
He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and William Teller of Maryland; and many close friends from the Cozy Inn.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge.
