Louis M. ``Monroe'' Gillus Sr., 70, of the 3600 block of Lenoir Circle, died March 10, 1996, at a local hospital.
Mr. Gillus, a native of Emporia, Va., was retired from Colonial Store. He was the owner of Circle Bar and Grill of Norfolk.
Survivors include his wife, Diane W. Gillus; a daughter, Monique White of Norfolk; a son, Louis M. Gillus Jr. of Norfolk; two sisters, Arlene Williams of Clairtown, Pa., Nevada Byrd of Glennburnie, Md.; a grandchild, Lorenzo Eugene Jackson of Norfolk; and a stepson, Domonique White of Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Norfolk Deliverance Center by the Rev. Flight. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family may be joined at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
