A Crime Solvers tip led detectives to a $150,000 cache of stolen motorcycles, parts and other property that may have been taken in thefts from Maryland to Florida, police said Tuesday.
Police spokesman Lou Thurston said it took two trucks to haul away the stolen goods found during a search last week at the home of Cody C. Bedford, 26, in the 5000 block of Princess Anne Road.
Police charged Bedford with grand larceny and receiving stolen property. He was released on $12,000 bail.
A day after the first search, information led detectives to a storage center in the 3200 block of Holland Road, where they found more motorcycles and parts, Thurston said.
Thurston said detectives are working with counterparts in three Florida counties who are helping investigate the case. Thurston said more arrests are expected.
