I am proud to support the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals' work on behalf of animals, and am dismayed to read so many negative comments regarding PETA's proposed move to Norfolk.
While some may view PETA's work to establish the rights of all animals as ``radical,'' its 400,000-plus members share the compassionate philosophy that animals are not ours to eat, wear or experiment on. Thanks in part to PETA's efforts, many people have made the healthy, humane and spiritually sound decision to change to a vegetarian diet.
