Ada V. Stone, 81, died Wednesday, March 13, 1996, at her residence.
Mrs. Stone was born in Portsmouth, and was a daughter of the late William Henry and Martha Ellen Brown Hogge. She was a member of Mechanicsville Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Curtis W. Stone of the home; a son, Windol H. Stone of Darlington; sister, Mildred Wright of Portsmouth; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorials be made to, Mechanicsville Baptist Church Building Fund, 2401 Cashua Ferry Road, Darlington, S.C. 29532. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Kistler Funeral Home in Darlington. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, 1996, in Grove Hill Cemetery.
