Charles K. Underwood, 73, died Wednesday, March 13, 1996.
He was retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Station and was a member of Penn Forest Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Glenna Carter Underwood; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry ``Joe'' and Earlean Underwood of Salem, John M. ``Jack'' and Sonja Underwood of Hollywood, Fla; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at Oakey's South Chapel, at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Derry Gray. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the building fund of Penn Forest Christian Church.
