ROBERT D. CUBA

Robert D. Cuba, of the 400 block of Hannibal St., died March 10, 1996.

He was retired from the U.S. Navy and was a native of Brownsville, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Ernestine Cuba; two daughters, Mary Johnson and Shunita Johnson, both of Virginia Beach; son, Jesse Johnson of Virginia Beach; stepmother, Ida P. Cuba of Dekalb, Texas; six sisters, Frances Salter of Indio, Calif., Joan Bland and Margaret Green, both of Texarkana, Texas, Marion Blackwell, Jean Cuba, both of Dekalb, and Martha Ann Hutchins of Houston, Texas; brother, James Cuba of Dekalb; eight grandchildren; an aunt; two uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by Elder James J. Johnson in Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial is in Colonial Grove Memorial Park, Virginia Beach.
