Mr. William A. ``Billy'' Pope Jr., 75, died March 13, 1996.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn C. Pope of Amelia; three daughters, A. Kathryn ``Kay'' Walker of Chesterfield, Bettye Louise Pope of Hampton, and Jill Marie Pope of Hampton; son-in-law, John B. Walker; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Barton of Tyronza, Ark., and Mrs. Dorothy Hunsicker of El Paso, Texas; granddaughter, Kathryn Frances Walker of Blacksburg, Va.; grandson, Jesse Daniel Walker of Great Lakes, Ill.
He was a veteran of World War II and a concrete contractor for more than 30 years.
His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home, Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Maury Cemetery.
