A limited number of tickets went on sale Wednesday for the 28th annual Seafood Festival to be held May 1 on Chincoteague. The menu for the festival will include steamed clams, oyster and clam fritters, fried fish, clams and oysters on the half shell and fried clams.
Only 3,200 of the $25 tickets to the festival will be sold. Anyone interested should call the Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce at (804) 787-2460 or stop in at the chamber office on U.S. Route 13 south of Melfa. by CNB
