SHEILA V. CRAPSE

Maria Cecilia ``Sheila'' Valencia Crapse, 54, of 22500 Stacey's Place, died March 14, 1996, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mrs. Crapse was a native of El Paso, Texas, and was formerly of Los Angeles. She was the owner and operator of Sheila's Petite Salon Inc., and a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, John J. Crapse; three daughters, Susan C. Plank of Rincon, Ga., Sherry C. Kirkland of Pt. Wentworth, Ga., Christina Nicole Youmans of San Francisco, Calif.; her mother, Senora Juanita G. Valencia; three sisters, Teresa Greenway of Baton Rouge, La., Anna Williams and Guadalupe Valencia, both of Los Angeles; three grandchildren, Alison Kirkland, Hunter Plank and Rilee Plank. Mrs. Crapse was predeceased by her father, Alfredo Valencia.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Jude's Catholic Church by Father Carl De Souza. The family will receive friends at St. Jude's Catholic Church today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. where a prayer vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. A funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of Forest Lawn Cemetery, Hollywood. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Hollywood Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Catholic Church Altar Flower Fund. Wright Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
