Jennie Levenstein Abram, 102, of the 6400 block of Auburn Drive, died March 15, 1996, in her residence.
Mrs. Abram was a native of Nashville, Tenn., and a resident of Norfolk for most of her life. She was the widow of Abe Abram. Mrs. Abram was associated with the Parkade Kiddie Shop in Norfolk during the 40's. Her memberships include: Congregation Beth El in Norfolk, its Sisterhood, the Hadassah, the Hebrew Ladies Charity , the Beth Sholom Auxiliary and the Golden Age Club. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Family Services, Ladies Hebrew Charity, The Hadassah or the Charity of the donors choice. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk will be handling the arrangements.
Survivors include a daughter, Felicehvey of Virginia Beach; children, of Lubock, Texas, and Jules A. Stern of Baltimore, Md.; one great-grandson, Alexander HarolDunyak; and nephew, The Honorable Judge Bernard Ries of Washington, D.C.; niece, Margery Raymond of Norfolk; grand-nieces, Arlene Kesser and Phyllis Kaplan, both of Norfolk, and Sue Goldberg of Bethesda, Md.; and nephews, Stanley Lebar of Baltimore and David Cohen of Pembroke Pines, Fla.
A chapel service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, by Rabbi Arthur Ruberg and Cantor Jacob Tessler. Burial will be in Hebrew Cemetery in Norfolk.
