WATERFRONT LAND UNDERUTILIZED

William E. Judah, chairman of the Chesapeake Port Authority, believes 1996 might bring more business to the waterfront.

``We've received interest from various companies that are considering locating to the waterfront this year,'' said Judah. The Chesapeake Port Authority has approximately 100 acres of land that are available for sale.

The waterfront is currently home to dozens of businesses, including Mobil Oil Corp., Tarmac Mid-Atlantic and Cottrell Engineering Corp.

``The port is definitely an untapped resource,'' said Judah. by CNB
