Mary E. Williams, 59, of the 5600 block of Darby Close, died March 14, 1996, in her home.
She was a native of Portsmouth and a member and church mother of Temple of Faith Love Center, Chesapeake.
She is survived by three daughters, Diana Richardson and Deborah Williams, both of Portsmouth, and Gertie Roach, of Virginia Beach; five sons, Peter Williams, Robert Williams, Maurice Williams, and Brian Skinner, all of Portsmouth, and Michael Williams of Norfolk; 15 grandchildren; aunt, Clarine Sumner of Washington, D.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. James B. Williams in Temple of Faith Love Center, 2709 Campostella Road, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The body will be taken to the church at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
