Chester E. Spencer
CHESAPEAKE - Chester E. Spencer, 73, of the 100 block of Lake St., died March 14, 1996, in a Chesapeake Hospital.
He was born in Hickory, Va., and was a retired Ironworker. He had been employed by the Local (NU)79 Ironworkers Union.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma L. Spencer; seven children; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one sister.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. The family will receive friends at the Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, today from 6 to 8 p.m.
