David Sherrod ``Rabbit'' Lawrence, 42, of the 9600 block of 13th Bay St., died March 13, 1996 in his residence.
Mr. Lawrence, who was born in Portsmouth, was employed as a plumber with Hampton Roads Mechanical.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Lawrence, four step-daughters, Ronnie Thompson of Crescent City, Calif., Stephanie Frank of Hawaiian Gardens, Calif., Rene'e Poir'er of Crescent City, Calif., Reesha Price of Norfolk; a son, David Glenn Lawrence of Norfolk; a stepson, Kevin Wonder of Norfolk; his parents, Dr. V.C. and Betty Lawrence of Norfolk; two sisters, Nancye Lawrence of Phoenix, Ariz., Barbara Maupin of Hardy; and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be private. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, in charge.
