Frances Bluford Nixon, 69, died March 18, 1996. Mrs. Nixon was a native of Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann L. Phillips of Virginia; two sons, Robert T. Nixon of Virginia Beach and Timothy R. Nixon of Morehead, N.C.; two sisters, Doris Bluford Wood of Virginia Beach and Carol Bluford Seaquist of Annapolis, Md.; and five grandchildren, Carla L. Nixon, Ryan Phillips, Sara Phillips, Katie Phillips, and Zach Nixon.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Wednesday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, by Father William V. Sullivan. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. There will be a visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
