Mrs. Marie Chesley Daniels, 65, of the 1100 block of Burns Court, died March 17, 1996, in a Chesapeake hospital.
She was a native of Fort Bend, Ind., and a member of Grace Baptist Temple.
She is survived by her husband, Dayton C. Daniels; daughter, Linda H. Wray of Vinton, Va.; three sons, Jerry H. Holland of Blue Ridge, Va., Michael W. Holland of Boones Mill, Va., and Robert C. Holland of Christiansburg, Va.; sister, Irene Chesley of Richmond, Va.; brother, Arthur Chesley of Louisa, Va.; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; stepdaughter, Pamela Messick of Norfolk; stepson, Michael Daniels of Chesapeake; six half-sisters, Edith, Betty, Dolly, Nelly, Nancy and Katie; two half-brothers, James and Danny. She was predeceased by two daughters, Patricia Yates and Donna M. Holland, and a son, Thomas Holland.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Clarke Mahoney in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association.
