Members of the Northeastern North Carolina Economic Development Commission will face a full agenda Wednesday at 2 p.m. when they meet in the Camden County Senior Center.
The commission has earmarked $200,000 for a computer network that will connect northeastern Albemarle counties to other state agencies. The panel is expected to discuss advertising for bids for the equipment.
A discussion of the current operating budget is also scheduled. The General Assembly gave the economic development commission more than $2 million for operations two years ago and the group still has slightly more than $1 million in its reserve. by CNB
