Dorothy Camache Derby, 90, of the 2000 block of Ardmore Ave., died March 19, 1996.
Mrs. Derby, the widow of Albert Carlisle Derby, was a retired sales clerk and buyer from Smith and Welton Department Store. She was a native of Wilmington, N.C., and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, H. Darlene Derby Bowes of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Hartley Dean.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. Ernest Trueblood. The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, Thursday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and at the residence at all other times.
