MAE H. OKONIEWSKI

Mae Heppell Okoniewski, 67, died March 18, 1996, at her residence.

Mrs. Okoniewski, a retired registered nurse, was a native of Central Square, N.Y. She was the widow of Edwin Okoniewski and a member of Church of the Resurrection.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Judy and Penn Rogers of Chesapeake; four sisters, Rae Ascenzi of Mexico, N.Y., Cecile Christopher, Carmen Baron, and Frances Foley, all of Fulton, N.Y.; five brothers, Robert Heppell, Maurice Heppell, Ivan Heppell, all of Fulton, George Heppell and Adolphe Heppell, both of Florida; two grandsons, Matthew Rogers and Penn Rogers, both of Chesapeake.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by Father Edward L. Richardson. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Western Branch Athletic Club, P.O. Box 9105, Chesapeake, Va. 23321.
