Pearl Andrews Russell, 79, of the 200 block of Fair Meadows Road, died March 18, 1996.
Mr. Russell, the widower of Margaret B. Russell, was a retired chief engineer from Toledo State Hospital after 33 years of service. He was a native of Vinton, Ohio, and a member of Orphans Friend Masonic Lodge (NU)275 A.F.&A.M. in Wilkesville, Ohio, Wilkesville Chapter (NU)207 Order of the Eastern Star, Calumet Chapter (NU)191 past high priest R.A.M. in Toledo, Calumet Council (NU)133 R & S.M. in Toledo, A.A. Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Toledo, past president of Ohio Civil Service Employees Association. He was a Naval veteran and had lived in Virginia Beach since 1973.
Survivors include a brother, Claude R. Russell and his wife, Roberta, of Columbus, Ohio; a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Joyce S. Richardson and Jay A. Richardson of Virginia Beach; a stepson, James R. Stiff of Virginia Beach; six step-grandchildren; a niece and her husband, Sharon and Tom Moore of Columbus; a nephew and his wife, Clarence Eugene and Etta May Norton of Ohio.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. Masonic Rites will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, at 7 p.m. Thursday with visitation following until 8 p.m.
