Chester I. Phillips, 60, of the 9600 block of 12th Bay, died March 19, 1996.
Mr. Phillips, a disabled electrician and rigger, worked for Little Creek Cinema for the past seven years. He was a native of the Eastern Shore of Virginia and a member of Southern Amusement Pool League for many years.
Survivors include three daughters, Gloria Hamel of Virginia Beach, Terry Morgan of Charleston, S.C., Cindy Jantti of St. Louis, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and lifelong friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
