JAMES R. GAREAU

James R. Gareau, 50, of the 1000 block of Winchester Way, died March 14, 1996, in his residence.

Mr. Gareau was born in Westfield, Mass., and was a nuclear engineer at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry W. Gareau; a son, Adam Gareau of Chesapeake; two sisters, Barbara Masciadrelli and Lynda Sadowski, both of Massachusetts; a brother, Jack Gareau of Georgia; and an aunt, Miss Ivis Fales of Massachusetts. He will be sincerely missed by all of his friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Great Bridge Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Ralph Herbert. Burial will be private. Immediately following the service family and friends are invited to the home of John and Susan Baggerly. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Adam Gareau Education Fund, 506 Deal Island Court, Chesapeake, Va. 23320. He will be missed by all of his friends. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, is in charge.
