Elsie Bright Hobbs, 80, a retired bookkeeper, died March 19, 1996, at Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Mrs. Hobbs, the widow of Claude Edward Hobbs, was a native of Back Bay, Va.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Hobbs Stones of Virginia Beach and Marilyn Hobbs Alley of Harrisonburg, Va.; a sister, Page Hartley of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, J. Patrick Alley of Richmond, Va., and Amy Elizabeth Alley of Harrisonburg.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, today from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to The Dwelling Place, 545 W. 37th St., Norfolk, Va. 23508.
