Kenneth L. Lueke Jr., P.E., 51, died March 18, 1996, at a local hospital.
Mr. Lueke, a civil engineer, worked for the Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District, for 29 years. He was a 1967 graduate of Virginia Tech and an avid Hokie fan.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanine Lueke; a daughter, Kendall Lueke of Raleigh, N.C.; two sons, Kenneth L. Lueke III and Jordan G. Lueke, both of Carlsbad, Calif.; his mother, Lois W. Lueke of Midlothian, Va.; his father, Col. Kenneth L. Lueke Sr., U.S. Air Force, retired; and his stepmother, Marjorie Lueke of Fallbrook, Calif.; a brother, Stephen S. Lueke of Providence Forge, Va.; and two nieces, Clair Lueke and Susan Lueke of Providence Forge.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday by Dr. G. Keith Almond at Community United Methodist Church. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Lee's Friends, 618 Stockley Gardens, Norfolk, Va. 23503, or to Community United Methodist Church, 1072 Old Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23467. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is in charge.
