Firefighter Frank Young will be buried Friday and firefighter John Hudgins Jr. will be laid to rest on Saturday.
Both men died Monday fighting a fire at the Indian River Shopping Center. Hundreds of firefighters from the region and the East Coast are expected at the services.
Young's funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 681 Oak Grove Road in Chesapeake. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery, 631 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach. Visitation will begin Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Rosewood Chapel of Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Road.
Hudgins' funeral is scheduled for Saturday, 11 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 412 Scarborough Drive in Chesapeake. Visitation and burial arrangements have not been finalized.
Firefighters are invited to gather in remembrance of the men Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, Greenbrier, 725 Woodlake Dr., Chesapeake.
