While the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt passes Town Point Park
in Norfolk Tuesday, Lynn Gould holds a sign that she is about to
flash to her husband on the signal bridge. The carrier has been at
Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth since Nov. 9 for maintenance,
and is heading for the Atlantic for several days of sea trials.
