A Circuit Court judge sentenced Irma Ziehr to 30 days in jail Tuesday for involuntary manslaughter in the death of a 14-year-old girl on the Western Freeway last year.
Judge Dennis McMurran followed a jury's recommendation for the 30-day sentence. The jury convicted Ziehr in January. She was originally charged with second-degree murder after she rammed the back of a Jeep on Aug. 20, killing Jennifer Erickson, who was a passenger in the Jeep.
