Chili Peppers Restaurant in Kill Devil Hills has won a second place and honorable mention in the Chili Peppers Magazine's fiery foods contest. More than 250 hot sauces were judged, and the Outer Banks restaurant's cantaloupe-habanera hot sauce won second place in that class, beating out the other American entries.
