EDDIE J. STEVENS

Eddie Joe Stevens, 17, of the 1300 block of Barbour Drive, died March 16, 1996.

Mr. Stevens, a student at Churchland High School, was a native of Portsmouth. He was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, Bells Mills, Chesapeake. He was the drummer for all the church choirs and a member of the church Sunday school. He was also a two-year member of the Marine R.O.T.C. of Churchland High School.

Survivors include his parents, Jo Ann Williams of Portsmouth and Rickie M. Stevens of Portsmouth; two sisters, Tiffany Williams and Tessa Williams, both of Portsmouth; maternal grandparent, Edna P. Brown, and paternal grandparent, Lessie M. Stevens, both of Portsmouth; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, 860 Bells Mills Road, by the Rev. Kim Brown. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Friday. The family will be at 3301 Knox St., Portsmouth, and will assemble there for the funeral.
