Robert Red Fitzgerald, 15, of 1235 Land St., Norfolk, and 531 Henderson St., Williamsburg, died March 15, 1996.
Robert was born in Portsmouth. He is survived by his parents, Amos R. Evans and Rena Evans of Norfolk, and Robert and Vanessa Fitzgerald of Williamsburg; five sisters, Yolanda Fitzgerald of Norfolk, Shari and Robyn Fitzgerald of Williamsburg, Karen Stevens and Claude Reese; four brothers, Andre, Amos, Roland Evans and Ricky Jordan; a godbrother, Jonathan Dillard; grandparents, Maggie Fitzgerald and Corine Evans; a niece, Feyonda Fitzgerald; a host of nieces and nephews; his godmother, Francine Irving; nine uncles; seven aunts; and a host of cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparent, Bernice Brown.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at New St. John Methodist Church by Elder Anthony Britt. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. There will be a wake service Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends at the residence. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
