Michael Scott ``Zeke'' Whitaker, 33, of the 1300 block of Earle Ave., died March 20, 1996.
Mr. Whitaker, a retired custodian, worked for Chesapeake Public Schools. He was a member of Raleigh Heights Baptist Church, Chesapeake. He was a board member and a very active participant of South Norfolk Boys Baseball.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy M. Whitaker of Chesapeake; a sister, Sandra W. Forester of Oxford, Ala.; and two brothers, Freddie W. Whitaker of Chesapeake and Robert C. ``Bobby'' Whitaker Jr. of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Penny Wilson and Rev. Henry Napier. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and at 445 Clemson Ave., Chesapeake, at all other times.
