Anna A. Kent, 98, died March 20, 1996.
She was born in New Brunswick, Canada, and had been a resident of Norfolk for 40 years where she retired in 1962 from the Norfolk Naval Base.
Mrs. Kent is survived by her granddaughter, Carolee N. Allen of Norfolk; her grandson, Glenn Ray Brown of Cypress, Calif.; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Hampton National Cemetery, Hampton Section, by the Rev. Howard W. Saunders III. The family has requested expressions of sympathy to take the form of contributions to a favorite charity. Services are being provided by R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Hampton.
