George Mason University nearly swept every award in the annual Crawford Bay Crew Classic, held Saturday in the Elizabeth River off Portside.
The Murray Cup for the overall championship went to George Mason. In addition, George Mason won the Mayor's Cup (women's varsity race), Olde Towne Cup (men's heavyweight novice race), Elizabeth River Cup (women's junior varsity) and the Portside Cup (women's novice).
The University of Richmond prevented the sweep by winning the Portsmouth Cup (men's lightweight varsity). by CNB
